iPhone & browser tips
Permissions
Camera and microphone only work on a secure https link. If you tapped “Don't Allow”, go to Settings › Safari › Camera / Microphone and choose Ask or Allow, then reload.
iOS Safari limitations
• Recording needs iOS 14.5 or newer. Safari records MP4 (H.264 + AAC); Chrome/Firefox on desktop usually record WebM.
• Locking the phone or switching apps stops the camera. Keep the screen awake while recording.
• Flipping cameras is disabled during a take — Safari can't switch mid-recording.
• Downloads open a share sheet; choose “Save Video” or save to Files.
• Long takes use phone memory; keep them under ~10 minutes for safety.
Testing on your device
Open the published link on your iPhone in Safari, record a 10-second test in portrait and landscape, then play it back to check sound. Try both front and back cameras.
Privacy
Recording and video export happen in your browser. Your video is not uploaded to AI Auntie.
Scripts edited in the studio are saved in this browser. Scripts and projects you save to your account are stored in Lovable Cloud so you can access them when signed in on another device. Importing device scripts keeps the local copies.
Captions are optional. After you give consent, audio extracted from your recording is sent to Lovable's AI service for transcription. The video itself stays on your device, and captioned video export happens in your browser.
The optional AI script writer sends your topic, instructions, or script to Lovable's AI service to generate or revise text.
